*LAND SURVEYOR II*
CPS, Ltd.
is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Land Surveyor II in Grand Forks, ND.
CPS is a Grand Forks-based Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm with a 4-decade history of providing professional services for surveying, land development, and municipal, transportation, traffic, and environmental engineering.
*PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Proficient in using conventional survey equipment, robotic total stations, and Trimble RTK GPS systems.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and either Carlson Survey, or AutoCAD.
* Coordinate & provide land surveying services for multiple projects.
* Communicate clearly with co-workers, clients, and the public.
* Perform topographic and boundary surveys.
* Write and understand legal descriptions.
* Perform fieldwork and computations.
Prepare plats, replats, certificates of survey, and ALTA surveys.
* Perform construction staking for site development, highway and street, utilities, and other related projects.
* Provide direction and leadership for multiple survey crew(s).
* Possess thorough knowledge of standard survey practices.
* Provide quality control and quality assurance.
* Work effectively independently or as a team member.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* 2-year or 4-year degree in Land Surveying, or related field, from an ABET accredited school or the ability to obtain the degree independetly within 2 years of hire.
* 3+ years of experience in land surveying
* Must be hard-working, self-motivated, energetic, and have strong computer skills.
* Requires a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
* Strong organization and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.
00 - $71,800.
