*LAND SURVEYOR I*
CPS, Ltd.
is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Land Surveyor in Grand Forks, ND.
CPS is a Grand Forks-based Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm with a 4-decade history of providing professional services for surveying, land development, and municipal, transportation, traffic, and environmental engineering.
*PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Knowledgeable of conventional survey equipment, total stations, and Trimble RTK GPS systems.
* Ability to use the Microsoft Office Products.
* Ability to communicate clearly with co-workers, clients, and the public.
* Perform topographic and boundary surveys.
* Ability to understand legal descriptions.
Have basic knowledge about what is involved with legal descriptions.
* Perform fieldwork and computations.
* Assist in construction staking for site development, highway and street, utilities, and other related projects.
* Familiar with standard survey practices.
* Provide quality control and quality assurance.
* Work effectively independently or as a team member.
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Entry Level
* Must be hard-working, self-motivated, energetic, and have strong computer skills.
* Requires a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
* Strong organization and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,000.
00 - $71,800.
